This necklace was born in my studio one day when, on a whim, I followed the impulse to melt scrap silver to form shapes.
The ultimate result of this playful approach to design is this necklace, which offers hints of lace hand in hand with a whisper of organic material. An alchemy of themes in the artistry of metalwork.
Citrine cabochons are added for a splash of color, with a plump Rutilated Quartz Drop held in prong settings as the main focal point.
The necklace measures 19.5” and is finished with handmade chain links featuring a hammered texture finish.
