I dream of Tourmaline Cuff
I dream of Tourmaline Cuff
One of my favorite moments during my recent Tucson/GemShow trip was finding these tourmalines. In a sea of various gemstones, my eyes went straight to the little trays of cabochon tourmalines, and I found myself completely captivated. I stayed and stared at those gems for so long I think the seller might have suspected I was plotting to steal them! Little did he know just how deep I was in a trance — pairing stones together, switching them out, laying one design next to another while getting distracted by a new combination. I was in what psychologists call the “flow state,” my happy place, painting a piece of jewelry in my mind. I brought three selected “designs” home with me that day; this is one of them. I’m so thrilled to share with you this finished piece I call “I Dream of Tourmaline.”
The cuff itself features a bright Rubelite Tourmaline in the center, surrounded by complimentary green Verdilite Tourmaline and yellow Canary tourmaline.
Hand cut fern silver accents in an adjustable cuff measuring 6.5” around.
