The design for this cuff bracelet might never have come to fruition. The flowers, which you now see as the central feature, were born on a whim and originally intended for an entirely different necklace.

I spent hours sculpting these flowers out of curiosity and play. They turned out to be too elaborate for the original design, so I set them aside for another day.

That day arrived last week when I felt the desire to revisit a cuff design I had crafted in the past. The essence of that cuff provided a lacy feel while maintaining substantial size.

The marriage of these two design concepts manifested with black spinel and clear quartz. The resulting balance of dark and light is what you see before you.
